Adina Camhy is interested in the pressing questions of our time, in technology, history and memory, in peripheries and glimpses beneath surfaces. Camhy researches, deconstructs and remixes. Her work spans across various media such as sound, video and visual arts. In her music she interweaves electronics, field recordings, voice and effects, creating subtle, alienated and eery fragmented soundtrack-like soundscapes between noise, ambient, drone and industrial. Camhy’s current work process focusses on the rugged landscape of the carst / krst / karst in the Capitalocene. Violent human practices are stored in the area in the form of traces, incisions and memories: remnants of wars, extraction, trade routes. krst constructs thread figures between human- and non-human narrations, incidents of a present, echoes of a past and a future yearning for a utopia of solidarity.

As “Sinnthese” Jakob Henneken plays nervous synth pop that looks wistfully at the harsher edge of electronic music. Trivial-radical lyrics and fragmentary sounds between sound art and the avant-pop of NDW.
